| Commercial buildings
often require additional expertise and testing devices. Pictured on
the Home Page is our “Bittle” 3 pole OHMS to Ground Megger and an
“Amprobe Digital Clamp On Ground Terminal Resistance. A-1 also can
trace and L.P. cable, electric, phone lines, etc. entering a
building with our cable locating unit, thus eliminating cable cuts. |

allows us to trace and certify an existing building LP.S. being
re-certified to Code, even if the system is installed and concealed
in the building walls. |

Fact: Any new
school, hospital or large healthcare facility built is required by
the State of Florida to have a UL certified L.P.S. installation.
A1 Lightning has vast experience installing L.P.S. ground rings
(counter poise systems) using cable to size 4/0 565 with ¾” copper
weld grounds driven to over 70 feet deep on buildings such as the
Orlando Regional Medical Data Center, where very sensitive
electronic equipment requires a very low ground resistance.
